Current focus
Her current focus is action that respects different levels of access and power. She develops routes for commuters, renters, workers, voters, managers, and community groups without treating them as interchangeable. She also checks whether campaign language overstates a study or leaves affected people out of the decision.
Beyond work
Sofia swims in the ocean when conditions allow and collects transit maps from cities she visits. She likes seeing how a network makes movement possible or difficult. Her map collection includes elegant systems and awkward ones, and she insists both are useful evidence.
